Pictures of the Year International winners will be showcased at the Newseum 

Winning images from the 71^st annual Pictures of the Year International competition, including one that went on to win a 2014 Pulitzer Prize, will be on display beginning Friday, April 25, at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. 

Tyler Hicks's photo "Massacre at a Kenyan mall" won a POYi award and a 2014 Pulitzer Prize.

The exhibit will include powerful visual stories of forests destroyed by the coal mining industry, countries plagued by extreme hunger and a loving home opened to an Afghan child healing from severe burns.
